When Trine was visiting, she wanted to do a ladies’ night, so we booked a table at Cavalli Club Monday evening. For 149AED ladies get a three-course dinner and open bar all night, which sounded like a really good deal.
I had burrata as a starter, then pasta as a main course and crème brûlée for dessert. All of it was really tasty, but the portions were rather small. Though lucky for me, neither Pia nor Trine could eat their dessert, so I had three desserts, haha.
The selection of drinks was really good for a ladies’ night, and the waiters were making sure that our glasses were never empty. As a matter of fact the service was quite outstanding, and everybody was friendly and attentive.
We sat down at 9pm, but we finished dinner rather quickly, and already at 10:30pm we were ready to settle the bill. I had expected that we would then be asked to move to the bar, but they let us stay at the table and order more drinks, which was really great.
Later on, we did hit the bar (and the dance floor) and even though it was Monday night, Cavalli Club was packed. Around midnight I was ready to leave, but someone (Trine) insisted to stay and dance on the stage together with Pia, so it was almost 2am before we could finally call it a night.
