Dubai: Emirates Golf Club – On Fridays we wear pink and play golf:)

Lately, a lot of things have happened. I’ve started studying for two big exams in the U.S. in August, and it’s taking all my time, so I took a short blogging break, but now I’m back. I’ve also started playing golf, and I’m taking lessons at Peter Cowen Academy at Emirates Golf Club. My friend Peter (not Cowen, ha ha) had been nagging me to start playing for a long time, and I finally gave in. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m so happy that I finally did it.

I go to the driving range at 7 each morning to practice and to take a break from the books. It’s a great way to start the day, and I’m enjoying every second of it. Though last week I went a little overboard and hit 6 buckets in a couple of hours. I couldn’t play for the next 2 days, because my arm was hurting :/

There’s a dress code at the golf club, so when Poul got tired of me, borrowing his collared shirts, I went to buy some golf clothes, and for some reason, all the clothes in the store were either pink or peach colored. Peter and golf coach Dong had a good laugh when The Pink Lady showed up for her golf lesson, but hey, at least I’m easy to spot..
