The big shopping spree yesterday never really took off. The reason why? The Häagen-Dazs café and its mouthwatering ice cream desserts. Instead of entering shopaholic mode in Victoria’s Secret we entered ice cream monster mode in Häagen Dazs and had each our piece of their delicious, hot fudge and raspberry sprinkled dessert heaven.
Can’t decide which one I liked the most, but I think it’s a tight race between the one with hot fudge and the one with brownie. The perfect combo would be a brownie-hot fudge one. Häagen-Dazs, are you reading along?
Before we were sucked into Häagen-Dazs, Rikke was looking for a fragrance oil, and she found one in Sephora, which smelled quite good. Unfortunately, it was called Alien. I know that Thierry Mugler also created an Alien perfume, which I believe is very popular, but I cannot help associating “Alien” with slimy extraterrestrials and Sigourney Weaver in Commando-outfit. Seriously, who wants to smell like an old monster?
Tomorrow we’ll meet up with some friends in Madinat Jumeirah. Rikke has previously found a fragrance oil in the souk there, which had the more neutral name “Arabian nights,” so maybe, she can find that one again (or buy the Alien-one and had me teasing her forever:))
