Dubai Marina: Breakfast at The Scene – Pier 7

About a year ago I discovered this amazing breakfast deal at The Scene in Pier 7, and since then, I’ve become a regular. For 35AED you get breakfast with coffee and tea, and if you’re seated at one of the tables outside, you get a magnificent view of Dubai Marina, rising and shining, at no extra charge:)

The servings are big, and you can choose among all the different kinds of coffee on the menu. I always order a cappuccino and the avocado toast, which is actually two toasts with smashed avocado and fried eggs on top. Trine was with me today, and she had the omelet with cheese, which was really good too.

As long as you stick to the Breakfast Specials it’s really cheap for Dubai Marina, but if you order items from the regular menu, it quickly adds up, and the 25AED orange juice that Trine had, which wasn’t even fresh was definitely not worth the money.

In the morning, The Scene seems a bit understaffed and when it’s busy, the waiting time for food and the bill can be quite long. Though I’m not complaining, because 35AED is such a good deal, so even if it means slower service, I really don’t mind:)
