Cirque le Soir is also located at Fairmont hotel, so after Cavalli Club, a nice doorman convinced us to come inside and have a look. It’s no secret that Cirque le Soir used to be the place to go if you didn’t make it into Cavalli Club, but with time, the London-grown club has become an entity of its own, and the quirky, highly unusual spot is now the first choice for many people.
Cirque le Soir is very different from any other nightclubs in Dubai. Think traveling circus, freak show and high-end lounge bar. Add a little burlesque (very little, remember, we’re in Dubai), mix it all together and you have Cirque le Soir.
We arrived just in time for the nightly show, which was a bizarre performance including a maid, a creepy looking guy and a dwarf in a tiger costume. It was such a strange sight and I wish I had pictures to show you, but taking photos of a little person dressed as a tiger just felt wrong in so many ways. Though as you can see in the picture below, I didn’t have the same issues about taking photos of my friends with the tall guy at the entrance.
