Hanoi Naturally is a nice and affordable place to get your pho-fix in Dubai. Pho is a highly addictive Vietnamese clear soup and at Hanoi, it’s available starting at only 29AED, though I usually choose their Special Pho, which comes loaded with both beef slices and meatballs and at 35AED is still a good deal.
If I’m really hungry, I would order a serving of Goi Cuon (fresh summer rolls). I’ve tried some of the other dishes too, and some of them have been good, while others not so much, and as for now, it’s the pho that keeps me coming back. It might not be the best pho you’ve ever had, but it’s definitely tasty and comes with plenty of bean sprouts and fresh herbs to add, as you like.
There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and when the weather is nice, the tables next to the JLT Lake are high in demand. Inside, the restaurant looks like most other Vietnamese restaurant in that price range, so in other words, you shouldn’t go for the ambience. If available, I usually choose the table next to the plastic palm tree, which I’ve grown quite attached to through the years:)
• Hanoi Naturally is especially popular around lunchtime during the week, when nearby office workers flock to the place.
• Sometimes the bean sprouts look a bit sad, while at other times, they are very fresh and crunchy. I’m not sure why, but I suspect it’s related to how you manage to synch your visit with the days they get fresh deliveries.
• The easiest way to get to Hanoi Naturally is by metro. Hanoi Naturally is located just a short walk from Jumeirah Lake Towers Metro Station at the promenade level.
• The different kinds of pho cost 29-35AED. Other mains are 40-60 AED
