The wrap is made from a mix of handwoven cashmere, wool, and cotton, making it the perfect companion for your travels. Lightweight yet warm, it’s easy to pack and can double as a blanket on long flights or a stylish layer during chilly evenings. The timeless gray hue and subtle pattern ensure it complements any outfit, no matter the destination.

Every step of the process is handled by LWH, ensuring ethical production with no child labor or unsafe working conditions. The wraps are also made with environmental care, and the women are paid fairly for their work.

Composition: 35% cashmere, 35% cotton, 30% wool.

About LWH – Local Women’s Handicrafts

LWH (Local Women’s Handicrafts) is a collective in Nepal founded by Nasreen Sheikh, who has firsthand experience with the challenges many women face in the garment industry. After leaving a sweatshop job herself, she started LWH as a small initiative to train other women in handicrafts and textile production. Over time, LWH has expanded and now includes several centers across Nepal, offering women new opportunities.

LWH’s mission is to support women from disadvantaged backgrounds by equipping them with skills and resources to improve their lives. The women receive training, a stipend, and a safe place to stay while learning skills such as weaving, embroidery, or jewelry making. They also get access to basic education and health services. Once their training is complete, they can choose to continue working with LWH or start their own ventures.
