Welcome to my guide to Kansas City! Kansas City wasn’t really on my radar until I went, and now I can’t stop telling people to go. It’s one of those places that surprises you in the best possible way. The food scene is wild (in the good way), with everything from classic burnt ends and barbecue joints, to stylish spots doing modern American comfort food with a twist. There’s also a surprisingly fun cocktail and coffee culture, and more than enough things to keep you busy between meals. In my guide, I’ve pulled together some of my favorite places to eat and drink, where to stay, and what to do while you’re in town.
