Mike’s Coffee and Deli är inte mycket mer än ett hål i väggen, men de gör riktigt bra frukost, så är du i området är det definitivt värt ett besök.
Stället har funnits i kvarteret i många år och fungerar som ett självklart stopp för folk som bor i området, personer på väg till jobbet och de få turister som har fått tipset. Det är ofta lång kö, men stämningen är avslappnad och personalen är trevlig och pratglad.
Vi beställde en klassisk breakfast sandwich med bacon, ägg och ost, stor nog att dela på. Enkelt, men väldigt gott. Vi tog med den och åt lite längre ner på gatan medan vi smuttade på kaffet vi hade köpt hos Lucid. En riktigt fin start på morgonen och ett perfekt ställe för frukost to go.
