Air travel insights from a former pilot and cabin crew

Flying has been a big part of my life for many years. Before starting Mitzie Mee, I worked in aviation as both a pilot and cabin crew, which means I’ve experienced air travel from both sides of the cabin. Because of that background, I tend to notice details that many travelers might not think about, from seat comfort and service flow to how different airlines design their onboard experience. On this page I share my experiences flying with airlines around the world, along with reviews of airport lounges and other parts of the journey that can make a difference when you travel. Some flights are long haul in business class, others are short regional hops in economy, but all of them are part of the same travel experience. The goal isn’t to rank airlines or declare winners and losers. Instead, I try to give an honest picture of what it’s actually like to fly with different airlines and visit different lounges, so you know what to expect before your trip.
