Las Vegas: A fab night out at Marquee
Cecce had to wait for ages for her luggage to arrive, so she didn’t make it in time to come meet us at Jean-Georges Steakhouse. Instead she went directly to Marquee instead, and after conquering the mile-long line out in front of the club, she finally arrived.
I think I’ve told you before that I’m not really into clubbing anymore, as I’m feeling too old. Though in Vegas, the clubs are so large, and so awesome, that visiting Las Vegas without visiting the clubs would be like going to the zoo without watching the animals.
Marquee is huge, and if you go through the guest list entrance, you have to climb 4 flights of stairs before you’re in. Inside, there are several different dance floors and a nice outdoor area with a pool. Somehow we managed to find Cecce and somehow we got our hands on a couple of foamy glow sticks. The rest of the evening was then dedicated to “hitting-each-other-and-complete-strangers-with-the-sticks”. Cecce and I were also introduced to our first round of Fireball, which is cinnamon whiskey that you drink as shots. It tastes like Christmas but kicks like a donkey, so be careful:)
