Review: FinalPress – Great Coffee and Tea on the Go

FinalPress is a compact and portable coffee and tea maker designed to simplify brewing while being environmentally friendly. It is made of stainless steel, so it’s durable and free of disposable filters or capsules. The device holds 12 grams of coffee grounds, which is enough for a robust single-serving brew, and it fits into most mugs or cups.
I have been using my FinalPress for both coffee and tea, and I really like how it extracts the flavor notes, providing a cup of coffee or tea that are well beyond your usual thermos brews. For coffee, I found that I needed to press the plunger and stir for a couple of rounds until I got the intensity I was after. For tea, it’s great after just 1 round of stirring and pressing.
I also like how easy it is to clean, – you just empty out the grounds and rinse the filter under running water. I like to bring it along for a hike or when I’m traveling. Most hotel rooms will have an electric kettle, and with the FinalPress, I can have my favorite coffee or tea no matter where I am.
To use it, you stir the grounds in hot water with the built-in filter and press the plunger to extract the flavor. It also works well for tea and even cold brew when paired with a lid. The FinalPress is lightweight, weighing only 3.6 ounces, and measures 1.3 x 6.5 inches, making it ideal for travelers or those who want a simple, space-saving brewing option. It’s also cost-efficient compared to pods or coffee shop drinks and helps reduce waste from disposable coffee products.
