Yesterday, it was raining most of the time, but it didn’t really matter since we had decided to spend the morning at MoMA. I’m not really a museum kind of girl, and I usually avoid them when I’m on vacation, but regarding modern art, it’s another case.
I don’t know much about it, but I enjoy walking around all the paintings, movies and installations and just experience how certain pieces manage to fascinate, inspire and sometimes even offend. I could easily have spent a whole day at MoMA, but we only had a couple of hours before our table reservation at The Modern.
We had an amazing 3-course lunch in the beautiful Dining Room right next to The Sculpture Garden starting with tuna, salmon and scallops. The main course was an incredibly tender tenderloin and a rich chocolate dessert rounded off the super delicious meal.
