Sundown Social Club is one of those places you could walk past a hundred times without noticing. It sits on top of a very unassuming building at the edge of the Toul Tom Poung (TTP, Russian Market) area, and even when you know where you’re going, it still takes a bit of effort to find. But once you do, it makes perfect sense why people keep recommending it.
I went up just before sunset and ordered a mocktail, which turned out to be really good. The pizza, on the other hand, was nothing to write home about. Drinks definitely seem to be their strong point, and that’s honestly all you need here.
What really makes Sundown Social Club special is the view. From the rooftop, you’re looking straight out over the busy market rooftops below, with bits of the city skyline rising in the distance. It’s quiet up there, almost calm, while everything continues at full speed down below.
