What is Yaupon?

Yaupon is an ancient, historic tea, made from the leaves of a tree called Yaupon Holly, which is the only naturally caffeinated plant in North America. The tea is rich in antioxidants and has caffeine levels similar to Asian green tea, but yaupon does not contain tannins, which is what causes the bitterness found in ordinary tea. The Yaupon Brothers tea is wild-harvested in certified organic forests in Florida without the use of fertilizers, pesticides or chemicals of any kind, and watered from natural rainfall.

Ingredients: Organic Yaupon Holly, organic cardamom, organic ginger, organic cinnamon, organic peppercorn, organic cloves

Yaupon Brothers has a policy of transparency, and no aspect of production is outsourced. Quality combines with nature’s special touch in East Central Florida, where Yaupon trees are ancient and very special.
