When we got back from our crazy Hallasan hike, we went straight to bed and slept for 12 hours. The following day our legs and feet were hurting like hell, and none of us could walk more than a few steps.
AC spent most of the day mourning her dead phone, and redirecting work calls, while I was busy doing work on my computer. When it was time for dinner, we therefore decided just to head over to the Italian restaurant Donato’s across the street from our hotel.
I have previously had some really amazing Italian food in Seoul, but to be honest, I had my doubts regarding Italian food in a small Jeju Island beach town. To my great surprise, the pizzas at Donato’s were not only good, but among the best I’ve had in Korea.
The wine, which came with sippy cup lids was also good, so we both regretted that we hadn’t made it to Donato’s earlier during our stay. Don’t make the same mistake. If you visit Hyeopjae in Jeju island, this is a restaurant you want to add to your list.
