Bangkok Trading Post with Annie
I’m only in Bangkok for a couple of days, so I just packed the most essential stuff and traveled with hand luggage only. Make-up and fancy shoes had to step back and give way to camera gear and spare batteries. When I was meeting Annie at Bangkok Trading Post yesterday, I therefore showed up completely au naturel, with flat hair and all.
Furthermore, I was sweating like a horse, so I might have been smelly too, because the trip from my hotel at turned into a complicated journey including a boat ride, a SkyTrain trip, a tuk-tuk, which couldn’t start and a motorcycle taxi. I was almost 40 minutes late, so even though it didn’t matter much, I was giving it my all in the final sprint towards the doors at Bangkok Trading Post.
After catching my breath again, I had a look at the menu. Bangkok Trading Post serves breakfast all day, so I went for their homemade granola. It was tasty, but I couldn’t help wondering why that giant pile of granola came with so little yogurt. Though I didn’t complain, I just silently regretted that I hadn’t ordered the delicious ricotta dish that Annie had.
