Welcome to my blog about Skiathos. Skiathos is a small Greek island in the northwestern Aegean Sea and part of the Sporades. The island is best known for its many beaches, clear water, and green pine forests that in some places stretch all the way down to the coast. Skiathos Town is the island’s main hub, with narrow streets, tavernas, bars, and a lively waterfront, while the rest of the island has everything from popular sandy beaches to small coves and more secluded spots. Here on the blog, I’m sharing my favorites from Skiathos. Read along for my best tips on what to see and do, which beaches are worth visiting, and, of course, where to eat.
