Munich: Good morning from BOLD Hotel!

Good morning from Bold Hotel in Munich. After a good night’s sleep, we were ready to attack the breakfast buffet, which was served in the hotel’s restaurant on the ground floor. After Zürich, I’ve had this thing for Bircher müesli, so I happy to find that among the buffet items.

You could pimp your müesli with different kinds of toppings such as cacao nibs, spirulina-matcha powder and chia seeds, which I did, before steering towards the tea section to make myself a nice cup of peppermint tea. The buffet might not be the biggest or most impressive around, but it had most of the essentials such as scrambled eggs, different kinds of cold cuts, dairy products and a nice selection of bread and pastries. Priced at only 9.50EUR it’s an affordable way to ensure yourself a good start of the day.

When I had picked what I wanted from the buffet, I went out on the terrace and sat down at the table where Hanna had left her plate, while she was getting coffee. At least that’s what I thought, so I started taking some photos for Instagram, moving the plates and glasses around. Turned out I had crashed a German couple’s table, while they were inside to get coffee. When they came back, the man politely asked if he could take his juice and his food to the new table, where they were now sitting. So embarrassing! I apologized sincerely and quickly moved to the right table, which Hanna in the meantime had returned to.
