Nestled in the heart of Meatpacking District, Genesis House offers more than just a culinary experience. From the grandeur of Hyundai’s luxury Genesis car line displayed in its showroom to the serene surroundings of its vast library and intimate tea salon, this venue encapsulates Korean luxury and lifestyle in a very stylish way with the restaurant and the bar as the natural center of gravity.
The chefs have been hand-picked from top restaurants in Seoul, and every dish tells a story of its own. We had the tasting menu, which was a beautiful selection of dishes blending traditional Korean flavors with modern twists.
My favorite was this delicate concoction of scallops, octopus, and a perfectly poached egg, but everything we had was quite amazing. You can also order a la carte, but I’d suggest opting for the tasting menu to truly immerse yourself in the full Genesis House experience.
