Tacos El Gordo is located on the northern part of The Strip, just a short walk from Wynn/Encore. This is the place to go for authentic, inexpensive and super tasty tacos. You can choose from many different kinds of fillings including brain, head, and tongue. If that sounds too exotic for you, go for the Adobada (spicy pork) or the Asada (steak).
The different kinds of tacos are prepared at different stations, so make sure you choose the right line (there are signs stating who makes what). When you’ve received your food, you pay at the counter, and if you purchase soft drinks, you get a cup, and pour your drink from the dispenser yourself. Seating is sparse so finding a vacant table can be challenging at the busiest hours, and Tacos El Gordo isn’t a place to hang out for hours.
• Friday and Saturday Tacos El Gordo is open till late, so grab a taco on your way home from the Vegas bars and clubs.
• Tacos are around $2 each. Expect to have 3 for a filling meal.
