The other day, we went to Fashion Show Mall, which is a sleek new shopping mall on the Strip. It has over 250 stores including a branch of the tourist favorite department store Macy’s.
Fashion Show is one of the world’s largest shopping malls and one of the best places to shop in Las Vegas. It is located a bit north on The Strip, opposite Wynn and Encore and within walking distance from the Palazzo where we are staying. Unlike many other Vegas shopping malls, Fashion Show is not located inside a casino.
There are always lots of things going on in the stores, and on weekends there are runway fashion shows throughout the day. If you get hungry, there are plenty of places to eat and you can easily spend a whole day browsing the shops. There are many good places to eat, and you can easily spend a whole day in the shops.
After strolling around in the shops the whole morning, we wanted a small snack, so we went to California Pizza Kitchen. Though, we’d forgotten that the definition of “small” is a bit different here in USA (at least when it comes to food), so even though the food was really delicious, there was no way we could finish all of it.

Fashion Show has a huge Macy’s, and I always find something on sale. If you live abroad, you can go to the Visitors Center and pick up an International Savings Card that entitles you to a 10% discount (remember to bring your passport).
