Good old Bar Marmont is quite an institution in West Hollywood. Visiting celebrities staying at Chateau Marmont sometimes drop by, but on an ordinary Saturday night, the large majority of the clientele will probably be well-dressed, well-heeled tourists.
During weekdays Bar Marmont is more cozy than hip and the area in the back is often closed. Don’t be surprised if the bar is almost empty until midnight, which is when people usually show up.
On Friday and Saturday, things get really busy, and there’s often a long line outside. Girls usually don’t have any troubles in the door, but dress up and leave your male friends at home.
