If you’re in Seminyak and looking for a really good brunch, Breakfast Club should be on your list.
The restaurant is right by the beach, and you sit outside on a small open-air terrace. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the crowd is a mix of hotel guests (Breakfast Club is part of Indigo) and people who have stopped by after spotting the menu.
When we visited, we tried a little bit of everything. The staff recommended the Egg Elegance, which they told us is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. It’s a croissant filled with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and asparagus. The combination works really well, and it’s easy to see why it has become a favorite.
The Grilled in the Garden features a slice of sourdough bread topped with grilled vegetables, smashed avocado, and pesto. It was Steve’s favorite.
We also ordered a Frozen Mango Bowl, which tasted like mango sorbet. It was topped with granola, chia pudding, and fresh fruit. Refreshing and really delicious.
The Sunrise Bowl with overnight oats and fresh fruit was also very good, but if I had to choose just one of the two, I would order the Mango Bowl again.
There was also room for a Gelato Kissed Toast, Breakfast Club’s take on French toast, served with caramelized honey and vanilla gelato. A hit with both of us, especially if you have a sweet tooth.
Steve ordered an iced coffee, and I had a Livertroops juice with dragon fruit. It had the most beautiful pink-purple color and was wonderfully refreshing in the Bali heat.
Breakfast Club is open until 3pm and serves breakfast and brunch throughout the day. Later in the afternoon, the atmosphere shifts more toward a laid-back beach bar vibe. It’s especially popular around sunset, when people stop by for a sundowner and to watch the sun go down over the beach.
