Staycation at Comwell Kellers Park: A Spa Escape Near Vejle
Sponsored post – in collaboration with The Heart of Jutland

At the end of March, my sister Trine and I checked in for a staycation at Comwell Kellers Park, a beautiful spa hotel just outside Vejle. The hotel is set in a classic white manor-style building, surrounded by greenery near Vejle Fjord.

At check-in, you’re given a bathrobe, and I basically lived in mine for most of the stay. It quickly becomes part of the experience, and there’s something very cozy about seeing people walking around in their robes between the rooms and the spa. You slow down almost instantly and get that feeling of having stepped out of everyday life for a while.

We arrived late in the evening, but the spa was still open, so we managed a quick visit before heading to bed.

The spa is really well designed, with different areas to move between. There are several types of saunas, steam rooms, and pools with both hot and cold water. We started in the indoor pool and then went outside to one of the hot tubs. We sat in the warm, bubbling water with the cool spring air around us. Could have stayed there forever.

Inside, there’s also a section where you can make your own foot bath. There’s bath salt so you can give your feet a proper scrub, and at one point I accidentally added something from a spray bottle that was actually meant for disinfecting the foot bath, so make sure you read the instructions before you get started.

The room was simple and comfortable, and we slept really well and woke up feeling completely rested the next morning.

Breakfast was excellent. Good bread, cold cuts, yogurt, and soft-boiled eggs. And yes, actually soft-boiled. Not always a given, and if you care about a properly soft-boiled egg like I do, it’s a small detail that makes a big difference.

There’s also a really nice coworking space on the ground floor if you need to get a bit of work done between spa sessions. I much prefer that over working from the room. It creates a natural separation between work and relaxation and keeps the room as a stress-free space where you can fully unwind.

Before we left, I went back to the spa one last time. Such a nice way to start the day, and a perfect ending to a really lovely stay. Comwell Kellers Park feels like proper pampering. You slow down, sleep well, and leave feeling calm and completely reset.

Mitzie Mee - Sanne

Welcome to my Denmark Blog. I was adopted from South Korea and grew up in a small village in Jutland. I have lived abroad for most of my adult life, but Denmark is still home. This is where I have my base, and where I return between trips. On the blog I write about Denmark as I experience it. The cities and the coastline, cafes and restaurants, walks in the forest or along the water, weekends away, and small breaks from everyday life. This blog is my take on Denmark. A mix of nostalgia and new discoveries from the country I call home.
